ACDF Nursing Staff Go Above and Beyond for Inmate Patient
The nursing staff at ACDF recently received an inmate patient who required full care; including being fed, dressed and bathed and receiving incontinence care throughout the entire day. While this is not a typical inmate patient for this facility, the medical staff worked diligently on a plan to meet his needs. The medical unit and deputies alike devised a manageable plan and the inmate patient is now able to feed, dress and shower on his own. His change in behavior has become better partly due to his regimented routine, but also because of the positive and understanding attitude of the nurses and deputies working with him! The staff has done an incredible job and should be commended on their hard work. This is a great example of what Corizon stands for!
